Once again as with the previous auction there were many high end driving games brought in by Dave & Busters. If you were looking for a late model driving game, this was your auction. A couple pins worth noting. The Sinbad was worth laughing and joking about. Someone clearcoated it alright. Don't remove the plastics, rubber rings, etc. Just grab you a can of clear varnish and spray the entire playfield plastics and all. The Data East Star Wars was a true one of a kind. Looks like the owner didn't have a Star Wars cabinet to use and just repainted the cabinet with their own Star Wars graphics. A bunch of acrylic paint and a few brushes and viola. A Very amateur job to say the least. Bugs Bunny Birthday ball was a real treat to see and I wished I could have picked it up. It was probably the nicest example of that title I have ever seen before. The cabinet was a bit different as the artwork on the cabinet was white, with the black line drawings of the characters with red, no other colors. At first I thought the cabinet was faded but it wasn't it was clear that this is the way this cabinet came from the factory. Amazingly the game came up "Adjustment Failure" but that didn't stop the bidding. Within seconds the pins bid got to $1500, where it ended at. A little step for that title considering you couldn't play it. But if all it needed was batteries than it was probably a bargain. Rob talked this relatively rare title up before auctioning it off, which I'm sure helped reflect its high bid. While on the other hand the Fish Tales Pinball Machine looked unfaded until closer inspection. Upon close inspection someone got the bright idea of grabbing their craylon markers and filling back in the faded artwork to make it not look faded. However it wouldn't have hurt if they would have stayed in the lines. It looked terrible, another amateur job. Ok...here we go. In the order they were auctioned off.
